ABOUT OUR NAME...

Our name, Round River Consulting, flows from the life work of Aldo Leopold (1887-1948) whose best known works "A Sand County Almanac" and "Round River" became keystones in emerging theories of environmental ethics and ecosystem management. We believe Leopold's wisdom of embracing the endless cyclical transformations of energy and matter have much to teach us as we learn to build relationships and organizations that are sustainable.
